They include: • mvc-lang: Stores your language preference (Greek or English) in localStorage. • Firebase Auth Token: Used to manage your sign-in session via Google OAuth. Stored by the Firebase SDK. • Stripe Session: During the payment process, Stripe may set cookies necessary to complete the transaction.
We use the following third-party services that may set their own cookies: • Google Firebase: For user authentication. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com. • Stripe: For payment processing. See Stripe's Cookie Settings at stripe.com/cookie-settings.
On lost item QR pages (/q/...), the browser may request access to your location. This is done solely to help the item owner locate their lost property. • Your location is used only for this purpose and is not stored in our database. • Providing your location is entirely optional — declining does not affect the page's functionality. • If GPS coordinates are provided, they are sent to the Nominatim/OpenStreetMap service for reverse geocoding (converting coordinates to an address), in accordance with openstreetmap.org's privacy policy. • If no GPS location is provided, your IP address may be used for approximate city/region identification. Legal basis: Legitimate interest in returning lost items to their owners (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
We currently do not use analytics services such as Google Analytics or similar tools. If such services are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
